POSITION SUMMARY The warehouse worker will stage, load, and unload finished product and raw materials and stock and maintain warehouse inventory.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Assembling parts for finished goods packaging Packaging finished products for inventory / shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)Staging finished products for loadingLoading finished products onto truck Unloading raw materials from truck Moving raw materials to warehouse storageMoving waste from assembly line to dumpsters or scrap binsBeing responsible for quality control Operating within standard operating procedures and Safety Standards Assisting in shop however necessaryOperating forklift, hand truck, pallet jackCompleting daily logsCommunicating with operators from other departments or shiftsCleaning and maintaining work areaTurning off and locking out equipment when not in usePerforming back-up for shipping and receivingMaintaining material supply adhering to inventory level set forth by Operations ManagerOther duties as assignedRequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)High School Diploma or GED preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience1-2 years of related experience working in similar industryGood oral and written communication skillsManual dexterity required for operating machinery and hand toolsAbility to be a team player and meet deadlinesPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
