The warehouse production associate will be tasked with organizing, loading, and unloading finished goods and raw materials, as well as managing and preserving warehouse stock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organizing finished products for transport
  • Loading finished goods onto delivery vehicles
  • Unloading raw materials from delivery vehicles

  • Disposing of waste from the production line to designated bins
  • Conducting quality assurance checks
  • Adhering to standard operating procedures and safety regulations
  • Providing assistance in the workshop as required
  • Utilizing forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks
  • Maintaining daily logs
  • Coordinating with personnel from other departments or shifts
  • Cleaning and upkeeping the workspace
  • Powering down and securing equipment when not in operation
  • Supporting shipping and receiving operations
  • Ensuring material availability in accordance with inventory levels established by the Operations Manager
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a comparable industry
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Manual dexterity necessary for operating machinery and hand tools
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

The warehouse production associate role involves physical demands that necessitate manual dexterity and the capability to lift and move items weighing up to 100 pounds. Safety gear such as eye protection, hearing protection, work boots, and hard hats are required. Loose clothing and jewelry should be avoided for safety reasons. The noise level in the warehouse is typically moderate to high.
