Front Desk Patient Care Coordinator

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Part-Time Front Desk Patient Care Coordinator at our Chiropractic Health and Wellness Clinic.

we are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our patients through chiropractic care and holistic wellness practices. As a Front Desk Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients have a positive and seamless experience from the moment they walk through our doors.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome patients with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for.
Schedule and manage patient appointments, including coordinating with healthcare providers and maintaining an organized appointment calendar.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, providing accurate information about our services, availability, and general clinic procedures.
Utilize a text messaging platform to communicate with patients, sending appointment reminders, follow-up instructions, and general updates.
Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with the completion of necessary forms and documentation.
Collect patient information, update electronic medical records, and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive patient data.
Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations.
Handle patient payments, process insurance claims, and maintain accurate billing records.
Provide administrative support, including filing, scanning, and managing office supplies.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or training in healthcare administration is a plus).
Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or wellness setting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, staff, and healthcare providers.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, basic computer applications, and a text messaging platform.
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is an advantage.
A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine interest in helping others.
Working Hours: This is a full-time position.
Hours:

M, W, Thur - 8:30-6:30 with a lunch break Tuesday: 12:30-6pm Friday 8:30a-1:00p
