Required Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of AWS infrastructure components such as AWS Windows EC2, Workspaces, AppStream, and System Manager, emphasizing security, compliance, automation, and cost optimization strategies.
- Proficiency in designing and deploying AWS infrastructure tailored to meet organizational requirements.
- Competence in managing and monitoring AWS resources like EC2 instances and S3 buckets to ensure efficient network operations.
- Implementation of AWS security best practices and compliance measures to safeguard sensitive data and adhere to regulatory standards.
- Experience in automating tasks and workflows using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce errors.
- Expertise in devising cloud migration strategies, defining delivery architecture, crafting migration plans, and overseeing their execution, including risk assessment.
- Ability to promptly troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure, collaborating effectively within a team to address complex technical challenges.
- Familiarity with cost optimization methodologies utilizing tools like AWS Cost Explorer to streamline expenses while maintaining performance.
- Effective collaboration with cross-functional IT teams including developers, network engineers, and security specialists to ensure seamless integration of AWS infrastructure with existing IT systems and applications.
- Demonstrated proficiency in:
- Installation and configuration of operating systems.
- Management and monitoring of AWS resources.
- Deployment of patches and updates.
- Troubleshooting filesystems and scripting (e.g., bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Design, implementation, and administration of server systems.
- Analysis of system failures to minimize disruptions.
- Utilization of AWS services such as SQS, S3, API Gateway, and SNS.
- End-to-end management of projects from conceptualization through implementation.
- Maintenance and administration of network devices like Cisco routers, switches, and ASA firewalls.
- Support and upkeep of internal database repositories.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Working knowledge of SAN, clustering, backup solutions, and enterprise applications to ensure system availability and recoverability.
- Sound understanding of networking protocols including DNS, HTTP, SSL, SFTP, TCP, and UDP.
- Excellent communication skills.
