Our personal care and household product portfolio includes baby diapers, wipes, feminine pads, paper towels, bath tissue, adult incontinence products, laundry detergents, fabric finishers, and dishwash solutions. In addition, we manufacture certain raw materials and components used in the manufacturing of these products, including flexible print and packaging solutions. Location: Anderson, SC (First Quality Tissue) Mentor: Continuous Improvement Engineer Job Purpose: The Manufacturing/Process Engineer's primary focus involves optimizing manufacturing processes and systems to improve production, efficiency, quality, and safety in production. Job Responsibilities: This position could be responsible for a broad range of activities on production assets and will work alongside the production team and maintenance teams. Maintain day-to-day machine parameters to target. Performance Improvement- Analyzing existing manufacturing processes and implementing modifications to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Problem Solving- Identifying and troubleshooting process upsets or changes to product quality and implementing effective solutions. Technology Integration- Evaluating and incorporating new technologies to improve production efficiency and product quality including, running trials for new materials and equipment. Documentation and Standards- Maintaining documentation of manufacturing processes and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. Skill Development: Team Collaboration, Problem Solving, Data Analysis, Agility Experience / Skills: The ideal candidate will be working toward a bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Paper Science, Packaging Science), with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
