Summary

We are seeking a professional to join the performance engineering team. As a Lead Performance Engineer, you will leverage your expertise, experience and passion to ensure we uphold the highest levels of quality and excellence for our clients.

Responsibilities Lead the strategy and execution of performance testing across all products, ensuring relevance, accuracy, and effectiveness. Evaluate and estimate the feasibility of performance testing efforts, and oversee their execution. Develop and refine proprietary performance testing frameworks for desktop, web, mobile apps, and APIs. Provide technical guidance to align both new and existing systems with performance guidelines. Design and execute a wide range of performance tests on various platforms, ensuring comprehensive coverage. Collaborate with Scrum teams for continuous monitoring and feedback on product performance. Produce detailed status reports and quality metrics for performance testing activities. Lead performance test case reviews, ensuring requirements traceability and comprehensive coverage. Identify and resolve performance issues through source code analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting. Champion process methodologies and best practices, adhering to established release processes. Lead in tool selection and configuration to support the performance engineering discipline. Guide the performance engineering team in developing operational metrics and reporting frameworks for enhanced transparency and efficiency. Actively participate in team management, including recruitment, career development, and ensuring team compliance with standards and best practices. Oversee high priority issue resolution and maintain high levels of transparency and communication with leadership and team members.

Required Skills 7 years of hands-on experience with load testing, performance test simulations, performance analysis, performance tuning, and performance monitoring in an n-tier environment using tools such as BlazeMeter, JMeter, WebLOAD, or LoadNinja 7 years of experience coding, utilizing C# and TypeScript. Experience with JavaScript and PowerShell would also be ideal but not required Prior experience working as a Lead or a Manager over a performance testing team leading test strategy, test planning, test case design, and execution Strong UI test automation experience working with either Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or Jasmine Proficiency with testing REST, Web APIs or SOAP APIs (ASP.Net, Karate, MSTest, NUnit, Postman, and SoapUI) Strong expertise in SQL Server, source code management tools, mobile testing, and reporting/BI tools Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or relevant) Preferred to have an understanding of Azure/Cloud platforms, services, and architecture, including Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure SQL Database, YAML, and Cosmos DB
