Position Summary:

The SDS Program Analyst assists the AD of Compliance & Training to analyze Self-Directed Services for Medicaid compliance, performance trends, and supports the creation of a well-versed and capable workforce via training and support. To protect the safety of the individuals we support and staff, Springbrook requires new employees to be current on all recommended vaccinations, including but not limited to: COVID-19.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the application of regulatory information, creating audit-safe work, maximizing billing opportunities.
  • Audits a percentage of monthly work: monthly summaries, program documentation, and billable information.
  • Develops strong working knowledge of relevant agency software.
  • Supports quality program administration, monitoring compliance with all applicable policies and procedures to inform compliance metrics.
  • Act as liaison between software providers and helpdesks to address system issues while providing professional communication and feedback to aid in development of and technical solutions.
  • Develop working knowledge of Springbrook SDS business functions including but not limited to New Employee Orientation, Payroll, and Accounts Payable and billing processes.
  • Attends OPWDD trainings regarding Medicaid billing, current policies and regulations.
  • Acts as SDS/FI Coordinator carrying a full caseload as assigned:
    • Ensure quality Self-Directed Services administration and compliance with OPWDD, Medicaid regulations, and Springbrook policies.
    • General oversight and tracking of Self-Directed budgets
    • Facilitate prompt billing and payment of approved services
    • Employer of record duties for all self-hired DSPs and liaison/advisor for budget use
  • Ability to address policy and procedure questions from staff, individuals and families.
  • Assists with New Employee Orientation and the follow up of annual training required by staff.
  • Supports the philosophy, goals, and policies of Springbrook with all stakeholders in a positive and constructive manner.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • OPWDD experience preferred.
  • Experience with Medicaid billing preferred.
  • Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
  • Proficiency in computer software with the aptitude to learn other computer software as necessary.
  • Meet the requirement to drive Springbrook vehicles as required.
