There is nothing in our inventory as valuable as the associates who carry our reputation into the marketplace.Essential Job FunctionsProcess phone and walk-in parts orders by:Correctly determining customer's needsInvestigating parts requirementsInputting orders into the computerPulling parts from the warehouse for customers waiting at the counterPlacing backorders with vendorsMaking proper and complete purchase ordersFulfilling the below warehouse duties when required:Put away stock ordersPull parts orders for the service departmentComplete cycle inventory countsAssisting the Parts manager when neededNon-essential Job FunctionsCleaning workstation and warehousePreparing for Parts InventoryCycle countsClerical work such as filing, answering phones, and so onJob Requirements: Ability to operate a forklift or to complete a forklift certification trainingMust be able to drive a company vehicleComputer literate with some working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & WordFirst-rate communication skillsMaintain a clean and efficient workstationStay current with product knowledge, such as new products and product improvementsCommunication with management and co-workers on work-related ideas and questionsPhysical Demands:Walking and moving about on foot often through uneven terrain.Ability to grasp and work with hands.Raises or lowers miscellaneous equipment parts.Extends hands and arms in any direction.Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.Remains in a standing position if required to perform various functions of the job.In and out of equipment. Up and down ladders.Read work tickets, parts book, and computer screen.Communication by radio, phone, and in person.Sits at the workstation, for long periods.Physical Strength:Lifts to 60lbs. daily; regular exertion.Environmental Conditions:The candidate works in conditions with constant or irregular noise and in a temperature-controlled office or warehouse that has temperature variations.
