Who They Are
Our client is a 30 year-old, privately-held supplier of fiber cement architectural cladding products serving the US and Canada. They are looking for a Purchasing & Inventory Specialist to monitor, order, maintain, and track inventory for their two US locations with a $6M annual budget. This person will work closely with the COO, sales team, warehouse managers, and vendors overseas in Europe and Asia.
What You'll Do
Support vendor onboarding, purchase requisitions, delivery tracking, etc.
Aid in supplier negotiation activities with a focus on cost reduction
Maintain relationships with suppliers/OEMs in Europe and Asia
Manage logistics operations
Oversee inventory levels for both locations
What You'll Need
2+ years of supply chain/distribution experience
1+ year of experience of product sourcing from Europe and Asia
Understanding of the supply chain process
Familiarity with suppliers and OEMs
Familiarity with architectural materials a plus
