A cutting-edge medical company seeks a highly motivated Head of Legal, to provide strategic legal guidance and support to the organization's corporate functions.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on corporate governance, SEC reporting, and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of SEC reports
  • Provide counsel on securities law compliance and related corporate finance matters
  • Support M&A activities
  • Negotiate and draft licensing and agreements
  • Provide counsel on clinical trials, product approvals, and post-market compliance
  • Advise on employment matters

Qualifications

  • Licensed attorney in good standing, CA preferred
  • 10+ years of corporate legal experience in biotech/pharma
  • In-depth knowledge of SEC regulations, corporate governance, and securities law
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities

Pay range and compensation package

The estimated salary range at the time of this posting is $275,000 to $345,000 (DOE)
