The position involves startup, commissioning and service of CNC lathes and milling machines in the steel, aluminum and paper industy
Technical Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation and proper setup of CNC lathes and milling machines.
  • Conduct test runs and performance evaluations to ensure the machines meet required precision and output levels.
  • Train operators and maintenance staff
  • Provide technical support to customers, addressing their concerns and resolving issues promptly.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine capabilities and operational efficiency.
Skills Required:
  • Knowledge of at least one of the following CNC control brands: Siemens, FANUC, Heidenhain
  • Knowledge in writing and interpreting G-code and M-code for precise machine operations.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software used to design parts and generate CNC programs.
  • Understanding of the mechanical components of CNC lathes and milling machines.
  • Knowledge of mechanical principles such as alignment, tolerances, and backlash.
  • Understanding of CNC machine electrical systems, including motors, drives, sensors, and control panels.
  • Skills in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
