Overview
Essential Functions:
The Project Manager, in conjunction with the Director of Creative Operations, regulates the flow of work within the COE. Must be proactive, results-oriented, solution-focused and possess good business judgment to effectively steer project development. Works with appropriate department heads to assign and adjust project priorities and deadlines of an omni-channel marketing portfolio with multiple concurrent projects with overlapping and or competing deadlines. Responsible for maintaining the marketing production schedule and Workfront online project management tool in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This is a hybrid role, reporting into the corporate office in Denton TX on Tuesdays and Weds of each week, working remotely the rest of the work week.
Responsiblities:
Act as liaison with project initiators and stake holders to gather information necessary to open a project.
Review job submissions to ensure information is complete prior to activating to avoid false starts.
Using Workfront, initiate and activate new jobs, create timelines, and tasks for work to be donewith the help of subject matter experts.
Continuously analyze and update project plans and timelines within Workfront including deliverables, dependencies, assignments and outcomes.
Manage multiple concurrent projects throughout their full lifecycle, from creative briefs, project start up, execution through completion and wrap-up.
Obtain approval on proposed scope and prioritization changes.
Continuously keep the project team and leadership informed as to the projects purpose, background, scope, requirements, and important issues.
Prepare communication plan and project reports to key stakeholders to provide updates on activities and deliverables, as well as significant changes, risks and mitigation strategies.
Attend stakeholder meetings.
Identify and manage overall project dependencies and ensure project deliverables stay on time and on target.
Identify project risks and critical paths and manage mitigation process with project team and stakeholders.
Successfully deliver projects on time, on brand, and on budget.
Follow development process and project management best practices, and drive their continuous improvement.
Identify, appropriately escalate, and ensure resolution of issues.
Accomplish department and organization missions by completing related tasks as needed.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Initiation of the project

Project Scope Approval
Planning the project or product
Develop the Project Management Plan
Identify and Schedule the Project activities
Identify and Quantify potential risks and providing mitigation options
Identify and Quantify the project budget
Executing the Project
Complete the work defined in the Project Management Plan
Insure the objectives defined in the Project Scope are met
Monitoring and Controlling the Project
Monitor the project (including schedule, work, and budget) so that corrective action can be taken when necessary
Recommend potential options for corrective action
Provide regular updates to Stakeholders and Management
Closing the Project
Finalize all activities across the entire project including benefits measurement
Complete project closure documentation
Formally close the project
Requirements:
College Degree
PMP Certification or equivalent certification a plus
3+ Years of experience in Project Management in Advertising, or related Creative department
Ability to manage full project life cycle of multiple projects in a dynamic environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Retail experience
Experience with Workfront a plus and familiar with Adobe Creative Suite
Competencies / Attributes
Extensive experience using project management platform and project management tools used for task/time/resource management
Self-Starter and ability to work with minimum supervision
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills and judgment for shifting priorities
Detail oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy in assignments
Ability to interact professionally with all levels of management
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team
In-depth knowledge of the technologies and processes involved in digital project delivery within an agency environment
Excellent administrative and organizational skills
Proficient in written and verbal communication skills
Working Conditions /Physical Requirements

The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
