What we're looking for: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or other industry. Experience: 5-8 years of experience or an advanced degree with slightly less years of experience. 3 years supervisor experience. Experience with SAP Production Planning preferred. Experience in Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or related regulated industry such as cGMP, ISO or FDA preferred. Certification(s): Six Sigma certification or other formal problem-solving skills preferred. Additional Qualifications: Extensive Knowledge of Supply Chain Management is required. Must have strong analytical skills including advanced use of MS Excel. Able to set team expectations and lead and coach a team of supply chain associates. Able to interact, interpret and present complex data to all levels of the organization. Able to apply Six Sigma techniques for structured problem solving and process improvements. Possesses strong knowledge of process mapping. Strong analytical, communication and multi-tasking skills. How you will thrive and create an impact: Responsible for leading a team of supply chain associates (capacity, production planning, finite scheduling or labelling) in developing multi-week production plans, finite production schedules, and driving adherence to schedule. Allocate manpower, equipment, materials, and machines, and evaluate the purchase of raw materials and administer the finished goods stocks inventory. Send materials that will be used for the production of products to a third person and realizes the sector's management report. Perform complex data analysis, recommending action based on insights gained from the analysis. Lead and facilitate process improvement projects across the Supply Chain to more cost effectively meet customer requirements, analyzing existing processes and leading improvement initiatives based on data analysis to strengthen current supply chain capabilities. Support managing metrics and dashboards to drive buying, planning and scheduling performance improvement. Support efforts to meet OTIF and inventory goals, and drive team productivity. Support forecasting geared towards providing early warnings of positive or negative trends in specific areas of the supply chain. Facilitate process improvements across the Supply Chain to more cost effectively meet customer requirements. Support data analysis and ad-hoc reporting, summarizing, and presenting data in meaningful way to all levels of the organization. Lead and coach associates in daily tasks to ensure high quality scheduling, labelling, and planning. Leads the team in line balancing and capacity analysis across a group of assigned work centers. Identify new techniques and trends related to data analysis and reporting. Drive innovation and experimentation to find new best practices across the supply chain. Establish key metrics to measure Supply Chain performance; including but not limited to schedule adherence, OTIF, lead time reduction. Production and distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly reports and dashboards. Serve as an internal subject matter expert on the reporting tools and metrics employed. Serve as technical expert on SAP data sources to facilitate reporting. Investigate processes to identify areas of opportunity and then make recommendations that facilitate improvement. Develop metrics, that measures existing processes with the aim of presenting this information to customers, both internal and/or external facilitating improvements in existing processes. Create robust processes to eliminate or dramatically reduce defects. Provide guidance and support to Supply Chain Analysts. May lead Analysts in process improvement projects.
