Job Title: Pharmacist Location: Irvine, CA (Zip Code: 92620) Position Type: Full-Time Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and licensed Pharmacist to join our team in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, mail-order services, and experience working in standalone pharmacies. As a pharmacist, you will provide high-quality care to patients by accurately dispensing medications, offering clinical advice, and managing patient consultations. Key Responsibilities: Accurately verify prescriptions, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Provide clinical services, including immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and point-of-care testing (POCT). Counsel patients on the safe and effective use of their medications, including potential side effects and interactions. Manage prescription billing, including coordinating with insurance companies and resolving claim issues. Support mail-order prescription services to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Maintain proper inventory levels and ensure accurate documentation of controlled substances. Collaborate with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff to enhance patient care. Address customer queries and resolve any concerns related to prescriptions and pharmacy services. Patient Care & Team Collaboration: Offer consultations on medications, over-the-counter solutions, and alternative therapies based on patient needs. Provide leadership and mentoring to pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure high levels of accuracy and service. Participate in company training, regulatory updates, and certification programs to stay current with industry practices. Required Qualifications: Active Pharmacy License in California. 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in standalone pharmacies. Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA). Experience in prescription billing and handling insurance claims. Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with mail-order pharmacy services. Familiarity with pharmacy management software.
