You will be responsible for scheduling content primarily across email, social media, and the website, in addition to executing marketing campaigns and ultimately working towards the mission of
Open the Bible .
PURPOSE :
We are a growing ministry looking to add a dedicated Marketing Associate to our marketing team in Barrington, IL. You will be working closely with the Marketing team that consists of the Marketing Manager, Creative Marketing Associate, and SEO Specialist.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Create and schedule content for all
social media
platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram) and maintain accounts
Schedule and update content in the
Open the Bible
App
Create and schedule recurring and one-time
email
campaigns
Execute marketing initiatives across multiple channels
Schedule and update content on the
Open the Bible
website built on
WordPress
Build and edit website landing pages
Update other web properties as needed including web forms, pop-ups, and ad banners
Copywriting for email, social media, and possibly blog content
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE :
A Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience/certification(s) in marketing, communications, or related discipline
2+ years of experience and proven track record in marketing, social media, content management, or related disciplines
Good familiarity with marketing terms and principles
Hands-on experience with: Social Media Management, Content Scheduling, WordPress, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Campaign Monitor, Neon or similar CRM
Willingness to adapt and grow with the needs of the position and the organization
Desire to work well on a team to accomplish marketing goals

mission and Statement of Faith
Ability to commute to our office in Barrington, IL two days a week
Ability to work remotely the days not in the office
