Emergency Management Analyst

SC&A is seeking a

qualifiedEmergency Management Analyst tosupport FEMA’s Chemical, Biological, Nuclear Radiological and Explosive (CBNRE) program by providing mission related support for various government teams and program initiatives. Work will include research, analysis, writing, meeting support, and potentially include training, exercise, outreach, and related professional services activities. Position also includes helping other clients with resiliency and emergency management initiatives, including, but not limited to preparedness, continuity, response, recovery, mitigation, and evaluation activities.

This is an on-site position.

Work will primarily be in an office environment at SC&A facilities or working on-site at partner and client locations within the National Capital Region (NCR). Some travel may be required.

Daily Responsibilities The

candidate will provide analytical and related capabilities

associated with CBNRE hazards in the areas of public/responder education/information; response management; response and recovery capability assessment, policy/doctrine, capability-based assessments, and implementation plans to support CBRNE response and recovery including, including but necessary limited to assisting with program management and technical support to FEMA’s CBRNE Office; the evaluation of plans, policies, procedure, training, and exercises to enhance FEMA’s CBRNE capabilities; coordinating with applicable intra and inter agency stakeholders to establish public education regarding appropriate safety actions in response to CBNRE incidents and establish post-incident risk communication initiatives for the public and first responders following such incidents; provide collaborative Federal-level technical assistance in the development and/or refinement of comprehensive plans, policies, and procedures for response and recovery to the effects of incidents involving CBRNE weapons or materials; and support capability-based assessments of the requirements associated with response and recovery operations to CBRNE incidents. In addition, candidate will support regular stakeholder workshops, meetings, and seminars/conferences in support of FEMA CBRNE program activities and support training and exercise related activities as directed by client, amongst other activities. Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) Project Management Professional(PMP)

Requirements Must live in the National Capital Region College degree, preferably in a scientific

and/or emergency management
