What you will do:

As our EPLAN Database Developer, you will work to develop EPLAN schematics, layout environments, and parts database for use by Design Engineering teams. You will create, modify, and ensure the accuracy of component, manufacturing, drilling pattern, and similar database records for our engineered panels that help control and monitor one of the world's most valuable and limited resources- Water This position works at our Ashland, OH location.

The Job:

Every day you will assist in developing and maintaining visualization, EPLAN software libraries, and assist with training Design Engineering team members in EPLAN, macro usage, layout methodologies, and output requirements for automated production equipment. You will maintain a working knowledge of production processes, including interface equipment such as terminal block label printers, laser engravers, wire label machines, and similar devices. You will also work with our IT team to review, update, and revise Azure virtual machine environment as needed and will cross-train on automated production equipment to ensure seamless interface of the EPLAN software output and automated machinery input restrictions. This role will also serve as backup to our 3D CAD Technician to create models using Fusion 360 or similar software.

The skills you need:

To thrive in this job, you must have knowledge of electrical components from various manufacturers, including their mounting, wiring, usage, and accessories in industrial control panel designs. Knowledge of Fusion 360, AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, and Macro Development is a plus. A Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar field is preferred.
