Job Description Salary: Hoyt, Filippetti & Malaghan, LLC is a growing full-service accounting and advisory firm serving clients throughout Southern New England. We provide our clients with professional, personalized services and guidance in a wide range of financial and business needs.

As a Tax Manager, you will: Utilize UltraTax CS and related Thomson Reuters products to prepare and review a variety of individual, fiduciary, partnership, and corporate tax returns Work with partners to allocate responsibilities to intern and staff accountants Review team members’ work for accuracy and compliance Provide accounting and tax planning services for small businesses and individuals Represent clients on IRS and DRS matters before federal and state tax authorities Actively engage in personal and professional development

Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college/university CPA or EA license Proven experience in the public accounting field (5+ years) Ability to work independently while supervising others Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to interact with management and clients Proven ability to sustain a high level of drive enthusiasm, and a positive attitude when coping with pressure at work Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and prioritize engagements Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
