As a Tax Manager, you will:​

  • Utilize UltraTax CS and related Thomson Reuters products to prepare and review a variety of individual, fiduciary, partnership, and corporate tax returns
  • Work with partners to allocate responsibilities to intern and staff accountants
  • Review team members’ work for accuracy and compliance
  • Provide accounting and tax planning services for small businesses and individuals
  • Represent clients on IRS and DRS matters before federal and state tax authorities
  • Actively engage in personal and professional development

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college/university
  • CPA or EA license
  • Proven experience in the public accounting field (5+ years)
  • Ability to work independently while supervising others
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to interact with management and clients
  • Proven ability to sustain a high level of drive enthusiasm, and a positive attitude when coping with pressure at work
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and prioritize engagements
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
