We're seeking a Full Stack Developer to work with our product team to deploy our Space Domain Awareness software applications to an operational environment.

You'll work through the full stack development lifecycle, from setting up the infrastructure and backend services to building the frontend and ensuring continuous integration, testing, and security. You'll need to have proficiency in backend development with APIs and Lambda functions, and frontend development using Next.js and React.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure:

  • Build and manage scalable infrastructure using AWS services such as DynamoDB, Cognito, Elastic Container Service (ECS), API Gateway, and Load Balancers (ALB/NLB).
  • Design and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of applications through robust infrastructure design.
Backend Development:
  • Develop and maintain backend services, including FastAPI applications and AWS Lambda functions.
  • Implement and manage authentication and authorization using AWS Cognito.
  • Ensure the security and availability of backend services.
Frontend Development:
  • Design and develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using Next.js and React.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
  • Optimize frontend performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
CI/DevOps:
  • Build and maintain CI pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Utilize Docker for containerization and manage Docker builders.
  • Implement and enforce testing and security practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with a focus on AWS infrastructure, backend, and frontend technologies.
  • Proficiency in AWS services, including DynamoDB, Cognito, ECS, API Gateway, and Load Balancers (ALB/NLB).
  • Proficiency in Typescript, Python, and Terraform.
  • Strong backend development skills with experience in building APIs, Lambda functions, and authentication mechanisms.
  • Expertise in frontend development using Next.js and React.
  • Expertise in backend development using FastAPI, AWS Lambda, and Next.js.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and DevOps practices.
  • Solid understanding of security best practices and testing methodologies.
  • Ability to define and lay out solutions to ambiguous problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
