We strive to create great partnerships with our clients, contractors, and supply chain partners through transparent communications, humble and curious collaboration, and a zealous focus on consistent execution of the most important 20%.Compass is recruiting for an Accounting Manager, International in our Dallas location providing the opportunity to develop you into a well-rounded accounting professional and leader, reporting to the Assistant Controller, but with frequent interaction with the SVP, Global Controller in a highly visible roleMain ResponsibilitiesReview/direct the work performed by our international accounting outsourcing firms.Manage the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting for month-end close for the EMEA and Israel entitiesLead monthly closing of subsidiaries, including support schedules, accruals, intercompany, and fixed assets.Manage the day-to-day accounting processes, including accounts payable and payments, accounts receivable, and collections process for our SAAS subsidiaryLead financial reporting process for our SAAS subsidiarySupport the standardization of financial accounts and processes throughout the company by ensuring that the standardized accounts are utilized correctly by the accounting team for monthly reporting purposes and reviewing the European and Israeli journal entries monthly to ensure correct departmental and construction accounting usageInvolved in continuous improvement in Financial Reporting and GL accounting processAssist and support with the external audit processContribute to process documentation and creation of internal control and accounting policies as the Company continues to grow.QualificationsPublic accounting experience is strongly preferred.International Company experience is preferred.Real estate industry experience is preferred, but not required.Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting/reporting.CPA is requiredFluent Spoken and Written skills in?English required. Other languages, such as Italian and/or Hebrew could be beneficial.Knowledge & SkillsA highly motivated, results-driven professional who can simultaneously manage multiple projects.A team player who has the interpersonal skills and personality to influence other team members of the team.Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Strong communication skills.Ability to adapt - Accounting standards/projects change at an accelerated pace, and he/she must be able to deal with constant changes to meet the needs of the Company.Detailed oriented with strong critical thinking skills.Good understanding of US GAAP requiredKnowledge of IFRS and other international accounting frameworks is preferable but not requiredProficient with Microsoft Excel.NetSuite experience is preferred but not requiredDisclaimer:Compass is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
