Savin Engineers is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to lead, and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of School Construction Project. This is a long term project. Individual with the support of Program Director will be responsible for managing and coordinating Architects, Engineers, Estimators, Schedulers, Environmental Planners, Construction Managers, and Project Accountants while interfacing with Clients, Contractors, and municipal agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Able to manage purchasing, project planning/cost control, estimating, contractor management, and field quality control.
  • Able to develop project scope, perform value engineering, prepare preliminary and final budgets and contract documents.
  • Able to prepare Requests for Proposals, analyze bid proposals, qualify, negotiate & prepare contracts.
  • Experienced in staying ontask and on-time despite shifting priorities and tight schedules.
  • Able to provide business development support including technical construction expertise, preliminary scheduling, preconstruction services and assistance in proposal preparation/presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in School/University construction
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong team building and coaching skills.
  • Skilled at inspiring confidence with unquestionable integrity.
  • Strong organizational skills for directing project staff to maximize project coordination and performance, while overseeing program office and field operations in the absence of the Program Director.
  • Able to oversee project teams on multiple projects from concept through close-out.
  • Self-starter, team player, schedule driven, organized, computer literate.
  • Knowledge of construction management computer software programs.
