Sr. BSA

Job Title: BSA
Location: 100% remote

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

- Supporting custom portals for Strayer University and SEI.
- This team is collaborative and close knit. They need someone with content management framework, preferably Drupal. If they have user management experience is also ideal.
- Technical BA/BSA role, requirements gathering and transferring to documentation for design for developers. They will also be customer facing too. They don't define the UI on this team, but they need to translate it into the terminology for the developers.
- Virtual campus for students and learners to access info on the virtual campuses. Need someone to understand the integration for this. Lots of integration with pulling data from other sources. Need to understand the customer experience.

Team makeup:
1 BA (this BA they're hiring), 2 developers on site and 1 PM.

Deliverables:
- Gather requirements - translate those to specification documentation for developers
- Define acceptance criteria for the QA team, project managers and business team.
- Production support - as tickets come in they will help out with this 25% of the time, doing initial analysis and then handing to dev to do root cause fix
o 24/7 support - need to be available, this BA is second line of defense after infrastructure. Not common it happens at odd hours. Not expecting a ton of off hours work.
- Might have to do data mapping

Tools/Tech:
- Moving to Jira from VersionOne - would be helpful for them to have Jira.
- Drupal - Nice to have

Requirements:
- Mid - Sr level BSA experience
- Content Management experience - Drupal is nice to have
- Data mapping - at least have a functional understanding from working on this with others if they haven't done it themselves yet
