Overview:

Product Manager - Marketing Technology, Marketing

As a key member of our Marketing Technology, Digital and Analytics team, the Manager will product manage and support the underlying technology stack used for marketing performance, marketing automation, and campaign management, in support of our overall marketing and brand efforts.

The primary purpose of the role is to enable and advance the customer marketing experience on behalf of Heartland Dentals supported doctors. This includes helping to build & streamline processes within our marketing technology stack, alleviate bottlenecks, steward integrations and contribute to meaningful outcomes.

Success in this role requires passion and collaboration, understanding of Marketing Technology products and analytics platforms, multi-functional project management experience, vendor management experience, and proven results in delivering intended outcomes through marketing products.

With more than 1,700 dental offices supported across 39 states, over 20,000 team members and over 2,700 supported doctors in our support, Heartland Dental has a proven track record of growth and success. To give you an idea of team structure, you will work on a team with digital product leaders, marketing and digital analysts, marketing technology professionals and marketing campaign specialists to help define, execute and maintain an efficient and effective marketing technology stack for Heartland Dental and our supported offices and doctors, reporting to Senior Director Marketing Technology, Digital & Analytics.

Responsibilities:

Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:

  • Lead Product Management responsibilities for Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), including implementation and integration efforts, adoption, product documentation, roadmap and value-stories
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, Finance, Business Intelligence & IT partners to deliver against the vision and strategy of the CRM & Marketing Analytics team, ensuring alignment with company goals
  • Partner with Marketing Leadership Team (MLT) to build the Martech vision and ongoing strategy to drive value to Heartlands supported doctors.
  • Define the features and benefits of marketing technology solutions and ensure they are properly communicated to all project stakeholders
  • Ensure capabilities are current investigate low adoption, promote capabilities evangelize use cases that empower business users to achieve more with existing tools
  • Collaborate closely with Director Digital Products to oversee the management of the product requirements & feature development pipeline for the core customer marketing technology stack
  • Develop and enhance platform to implement testing strategies and execution plans to optimize and improve performance of customer marketing programs (multivariate, A/B, etc.)
  • Build and articulate business cases and pro forma financials for additional products and implementation
  • Build and strengthen relationships with internal and external partners


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Analytics, Comp Science, Engineering or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of product management experience in building, managing, supporting and optimizing Marketing Automation and MarTech products, preferably with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
  • Experience in agile development environments, specifically within marketing technology
  • Deep knowledge of critical marketing metrics & analytics
  • Experience with testing (AB/MVT) products
  • Experience with Email/SMS marketing and analytics
  • Knowledge of Digital Asset Management (DAM), Content Management Systems (CMS) and Personalization tools
  • Practical experience with web & digital product development and process
  • Problem solving - identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information strategically
  • Communication - speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, demonstrates group presentation abilities and conducts productive meetings
  • High comfort with ambiguity & working in a fast-paced, high growth and fast-changing entrepreneurial environment
  • Intellectually curious

Desirable Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA/MS) in Business, Analytics, Comp Science, Engineering
  • Experience with MarTech Products and Technology tool administration
  • Proven ability to integrate technology throughout organizations including evidence of adoption and ROI
  • Thought partner in thinking through marketing decisions; ability to structure business relevant analyses
  • Establish and develop strong relationships with diverse groups of business and project stakeholders to ensure that business goals are met
  • Experience in working hands on with highly technical business partners and their technology identifying problem areas, bottlenecks, and resolving with scalable solutions
  • Healthcare experience is a plus
