Houston Retina Associates is a retina-only group serving the Houston community for over 20 years. Currently, we have 6 board certified vitreoretinal physicians practicing in 7 locations throughout the greater Houston area. We are a busy, growing practice that is seeking an additional physician to join our team. Our offices and surgery center are well staffed and equipped with the latest technology. Associate travel will be limited to Houston and the surrounding suburbs, with no driving to other remote cities in Texas. There is opportunity for partnership after an associate period. As the fourth largest city in America, the cost of living is lower in Houston compared to other major cities and there is no state income tax. As a diverse metropolis, Houston offers an incredible restaurant scene with various authentic ethnic cuisines and flavors. Furthermore, Houston offers a unique blend of urban and outdoor activities with multiple parks and trails that can be enjoyed year-round with our warm weather. Not only does Houston have the largest medical center in the world, it is also the home of NASA and various major sports teams. Additionally, Houston also has two international airports and a major seaport for convenient travel. An ideal candidate must be a board certified/board eligible vitreoretinal surgeon. We are seeking a professional, personable, self-motivated, and hardworking team player with a strong commitment to patient care. We offer a competitive guaranteed base salary with incentive bonus, paid vacation time, medical coverage, and 401k.
