Job Description
Summary
Individual contributor role reporting to the Continuous Improvement Project Manager. This is a hybrid role responsible for providing analytical and project coordination support on Data Management team projects and maintaining Oracle Item Master and Pricing setups across all business units.
Essential Functions
Support project activities for the Data Management team on ERP system transitions/changes, acquisition execution, and other supply chain process enhancements.
Assist with controls and segregation of duties that maintain the integrity of the Item Master and Pricing (net and unload) databases in the ERP System.
Comply with data creation and amendment policies that are in place to ensure the integrity of item master data elements.
Support the Data Management team with adherence to established service level agreements.
Support departmental continuous improvements efforts (eg, tools, templates, processes).
Provide reporting as requested
Item Master and Pricing (net & unload) management
Daily liaison between Corporate and branch locations
Control and manage item additions, changes, and pricing updates
Data integrity management and research
Item weights
Item unit of measure conversions
Duplicate item research and corrections
Inventory Management
Identify obsolete inventory items and successfully manage in Oracle
PUR supplier net and unload cost management
Manage PUR supplier contact information
Identify inter-company transfer opportunities for slow moving inventory
Assist A/P on PUR supplier invoices
Required Skills
Process Improvement - Evaluating and using relevant information and individual judgment to suggest ways to improve the work processes.
Experience with ERP applications (preferably Oracle) and Item Master Data maintenance.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate or power user), Word, PowerPoint.
Strong analytic skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills, both written and oral.
Reliable, responsible, and dependable in fulfilling obligations.

Education and Certifications
Minimum Degree: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent years of experience

Legal Age Requirements: At least 18 years of age
Travel Requirements
Type of Travel Required: Travel as needed.
Amount of Travel Required: Very limited.
Physical Requirements
Work is performed in a typical office environment and may require standing, bending, lifting boxes or packages under 10 lbs., and sitting for long periods of time.
Work requires regularly inputting/retrieving words or data into or from an automated/computer system.
