SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for efficiently managing cashiers and ensuring event related revenue controls integrity and security of parking receipts is followed. In addition, this position must oversee and ensure maximum cashier efficiency while providing the highest level of customer service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Provide instructional support and assistance to cashiers in order to ensure quick resolution of issues.
  2. Brief all cashiers of any necessary event information prior to start of event.
  3. Inspect each cashier station and start-up bin to ensure staff is equipped with necessary change fund (bank), tickets, drop slips/envelopes and other supplies needed to perform their job responsibilities efficiently.
  4. Prepare incremental cash drops for assigned Cashiers and secure receipts in booth safe(s).
  5. Prepare Parking Patrons Arrival Distribution worksheet for each cashier station by recording ending ticket number every hour through close of the event.
  6. Monitor performance of each cashier to ensure proper and efficient processing of transactions.
  7. At the close of each event, complete all necessary paper work as provided.
  8. Collect and secure tickets and supplies in cashier bin for each cashier station at close of each event.
  9. Provide outstanding customer service by assisting event patrons with their needs and answering any questions they may have. If necessary, direct the patron to the Operations Manager or appropriate department for resolution
  10. Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of stadium policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Operations Manager or appropriate department
  11. Special projects and assignments as business dictates.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Cashiers
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education and/or Experience Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to make change.
  • Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, supervisors and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work all mandatory full Stadium events

  • The noise level in the work environment is loud on event days.
  • This job entails working in an office and outside in potentially inclimate weather
