Position Summary

The main responsibility of this role is to collect payments from patrons for parking services while ensuring smooth traffic flow at the entrance. This position also emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service to all guests.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Confirm that all vehicles entering the parking areas possess an event ticket.
  2. Manage vehicle entries by scanning both digital and printed parking passes.
  3. For events requiring on-site payment, process credit card transactions using designated parking technology.
  4. In areas without pass requirements, utilize ticket scanners to monitor vehicle counts.
  5. Offer guidance and assistance to guests as necessary.
  6. Address customer concerns with support from the Head Cashier.
  7. Ensure cleanliness of the booth and surrounding environment.
  8. Conduct regular checks to maintain proper inventory of equipment and supplies.
  9. Take on flagger or vehicle occupancy rate counting duties when cashier positions are unavailable.
  10. Engage in special projects and tasks as needed.
Supervisory Duties
  • This role does not include supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to seek help when needed.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Previous experience in a cashier role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with operating credit card machines or calculators.
  • Capable of effectively managing customer service challenges.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

Work Environment
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
