If so, you have come to the right place Come join our small, friendly, boutique tax litigation law firm of like-minded people. We are located in West Los Angeles and are seeking an Enrolled Agent or CPA to work on client cases.
This is a full-time position that can be done mostly remotely, although you must be geographically close enough to Los Angeles to be able to come into our West LA office as needed, and to personally attend audits and other meetings. Therefore, you MUST BE LOCATED IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AND BE WILLING TO COME INTO OUR WEST LOS ANGELES OFFICE WHEN NECESSARY TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.
This is not a bookkeeping position and does not include any administrative bookkeeping work/duties for our law firm; you will only be working on client cases. There is no tax preparation and no late nights during tax season, but experience with personal and corporate tax returns is a must.
We offer medical insurance, a health FSA, and pay for parking on those occasions when you come to the office.

Responsibilities
•Highly meticulous, detail-oriented, and accurate.
•Ability to complete work with tight deadlines.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with all levels within the organization. A writing sample will be required.
•Excellent telephone etiquette.
•Very strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
•Excellent customer service with the ability to simplify complex tax information for the client.
Qualifications
•Minimum of 3-5 years of IRS exam experience required (either at the IRS or in private practice) as well as tax controversy experience.
•BA/BS degree in Accounting required.
•Candidate Must have an active EA designation or CPA license.
•Bookkeeping experience is a plus.
