The successful candidate will be responsible for financial analysis, general ledger accounting and financial reporting. Job Description
  • Guides financial decisions and protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies, procedures and internal controls.
  • Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting analysis and providing information to external auditors.
  • Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting and reporting financial data.
  • Works with other financial staff by assisting with divisional monthly closing transactions that leads to month-end financial statements.
Qualifications
  • Experience in manufacturing, packaging or other labor-intensive industries with a focus on logistics
  • Background in cost accounting and cost control; accounting firm background not required
  • Strong ERP systems experience
  • Significant experience working with internal controls and compliance-related issues
  • Education: BBA or BS in Accounting; CPA or MBA preferred


Additional Information

The ideal candidate will be well versed in managing processes, financial software, accounting, analyzing information and performance management. Candidate should have several years of experience in accounting, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and have the ability to work closely with other divisions as well as the senior management team.
