What you are doing as an Electrical Engineering Manager:
  • Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of embedded control systems and automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and systems engineers, to ensure seamless integration of embedded control systems.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop detailed project plans and schedules.
  • Ensure that all embedded control systems meet industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide feedback on design documents, code, and test plans.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with embedded control systems and automation projects.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in embedded control technologies and automation practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
What you will need Electrical Engineering Manager:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience in electrical controls engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing embedded control systems and automation solutions.
  • Knowledge of embedded software development, including C/C++ programming, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and microcontroller/microprocessor architectures.
  • Demonstrated experience with control algorithms, sensor integration, and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, SPI, I2C, Ethernet).
  • Familiarity with hardware design and debugging tools, such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and emulators.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
