This is a dual HR role providing the best of both worlds as an HR Business Partner and HR Manager.

The following challenges await you:

Business Partner Responsibilities Implementation of regional human resources strategy aligned to support the Heraeus Epurio Global Business Unit strategic plans for the Dayton, OH site and others as deemed necessary in the future. Provide day-to-day support to Leadership Team on ad-hoc topics and projects as assigned. Participate as a member of the extended Management Team in formulating and presenting strategic initiatives and solutions that affect and improve the cross-functionality of the local organization. Employee site relations. Provide day-to-day support for employees on site incl. administrative HR topics. Provide guidance on the organizational structure, setup, performance requirements and employee placement to achieve usiness strategy in alignment with global HR roadmap. Consult with and support senior leadership team with organizational change initiatives and talent management. Support Head of HR in projects as assigned. Provide Human Resources guidance on regional HR tools and processes.

HR Management Responsibilities Developing, maintaining, reporting and monitoring of workforce plan (including monthly reporting and forecasting). Manage the temporary agency vendors and requirements (including ensuring HR vendors are paid in a timely manner.) Participates in the investigation and resolution of ongoing employee relations issues, anticipates problems whenever possible, and develops, recommends, and initiates appropriate steps for resolution. Develops job profiles (descriptions) and participates in inter-company job analysis and benchmarking. Communicate all HR regional initiatives and align with Global Head of HR on implementation timelines and scope in advance. Trains and/or oversees informal and formal training of managers and employees on HR Policies as well as other applicable topics. Advocate for workforce. Member of regional HR team, attend meetings and participates as applicable in regional and global Human Resources events and initiatives to ensure cross-divisional efficiencies in training, benefits programs, policy development, sourcing and staffing programs, etc.

Your Profile:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources leadership position. A Masters Degree is preferred. The equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. Thorough understanding of Federal and State employment laws including ADA, FMLA, OSHA and Workers Compensation. Demonstrate a high level of integrity, influence, professionalism and leadership ability; exhibit a high level of motivation (self starter) and initiative with the ability to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, proven experience in driving change initiatives and execution of programs. Experience in working for multinational companies is required. Experience in working with multiple HRIS systems is desired.
