Who we are: Vandalia Rental, a third-generation, family-owned construction equipment rental company, has been providing quality service to contractors and construction businesses since 1961. Named after its founding city in Ohio, Vandalia Rental has grown from a small family business into the premier equipment rental company in southwest Ohio. The company is committed to operational excellence, ensuring superior quality, service, and value for its customers. With multiple locations in Ohio, including Franklin and Cincinnati, Vandalia Rental serves a diverse range of rental accounts, from small businesses to large publicly traded corporations, government agencies, and municipalities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Maximize account potential and exceed quarter over quarter, year over year revenue growth and profitability goals.
  • Develop new business opportunities that align with our ideal client profile that result in long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Serve as a conduit to coordinate customer requests and resolve escalated issues ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Must be an absolute "Go Getter" with a will to win and a drive to succeed
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred and 3+ years of Account Management or Outside Sales is preferred
  • Experience in the rental industry is a plus
  • Excellent understanding of construction and industrial type equipment
  • Salesforce CRM or other CRM experience
  • Great presentation skills and comfortable with public speaking
  • Technologically savvy. You'll use computers, cell phones, and other tech tools
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Must be able and willing to drive extensively throughout the geographical area, work around construction and industrial environments, and lift 35+ lbs.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

  • 10 hour shift
