The Marketing Manager will be an integral part of our dynamic, fast-paced, and creative strategic marketing team. This team is focused on growing the agency's brand awareness and developing a pipeline of qualified prospects. As a Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the crafting and execution of the agency's marketing strategy. This role requires excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and outstanding communication abilities. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with marketing, business development, and digital teams, contributing to our collective success.

What you will do:

    • Manage and execute brand- and marketing-focused activities, including the website, blogs, newsletters, social media, campaigns, and events.
    • Develop insights to inform evolving agency marketing strategies.
    • Shape brand positioning and messaging strategies.
    • Focus on targeting strategies to reach the right prospects for the pipeline.
    • Lead a collaborative approach to content publishing strategy and content creation.
    • Work with the design team to deliver assets for all marketing tactics.
    • Ensure marketing strategies align with overall business acquisition goals.
    • Track and assist with agency awards program entries.
    • Plan and attend conferences representing the agency.
Experience Required:
    • 3-4+ years of experience in brand strategy, marketing, or related field.
    • Demonstrated experience in delivering effective marketing strategies.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
    • Ability to motivate and collaborate effectively with team members.
    • Self-starter with a proactive approach to project ownership.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
    • Ability to tactfully deliver information to team members.
    • Strong writing and presentation skills.
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills in time-sensitive situations.
    • Collaborative team player contributing to successful marketing programs.
    • Ability to drive brand and marketing strategy forward.
    • Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a Public Trust Security Clearance.
Other Job Requirements:
    • Must reside within driving distance of Alexandria, VA, for in-office days at least monthly and as needed for marketing activities.
    • Proficient user of Microsoft Platforms.
    • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.
    • Experience with CRMs and marketing automation platforms (such as HubSpot) is highly desirable.
