Title: Technical Product Owner - Physician Solutions
Location - Either Remote or Denver, CO (preferred)
*If located in Denver, CO, will be a hybrid of 3 days onsite/month (2 nd full week each month, Tues, Weds and Fri)
Contract Duration - June 2024 - December 31, 2024 with strong potential for extensions/conversion

This Technical Product Owner will work with a high functioning team and support product development and engineering efforts. We are looking for someone who has a bias towards action, able to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and is obsessive about breaking down complex problems into steps that drive product development to simplify the many complexities of patient care. Responsibilities will include the following:
  • Lead an Agile Scrum Team(s) in building an innovative Physician facing mobile application
  • Define the product backlog, create technical roadmap needed to support the business initiative and create actionable user stories for the development teams with the goal of delivering on the product and program strategy.
  • Perform Requirement gathering with various stakeholders and articulate those into Epics, Features and User Stories.
  • Partner closely with Manager over Architecture to ensure that the product vision and critical technical roadmap milestones are met.
  • Fulfill a leadership role in the Scrum Team by providing clarification on user stories, objectives, and priorities while also motivating the team to GSD (Get Stuff Done) .
  • Partner closely with legal, compliance, security, and risk teams to ensure that we are delivering a product that meets all legal and compliance requirements.
  • Partner closely with the Architecture team to ensure that we are delivering a product that meets all architecture standards and requirements.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our physician customers (both existing and potential), patients (who have numerous high-cost, complex chronic conditions), and the broader healthcare ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in business, product, design, and engineering .
  • Work closely with Automation and Performance Engineers and QA Manager for ensuring right business vision is implemented
  • Manage business vision working closely with Project Managers across the delivery lane
Required Skills and Expertise:
  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree.
  • 6+ years of product experience in an Agile environment.
  • Experience supporting web + mobile product development and technologies.
  • Previous experience serving as a Developer, Technical Lead or Architect preferred.
  • Experience working in Microservice architecture, Spring and cloud-based environments preferred.
  • Experience working in an Agile and SAFE/Agile model
  • Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Java, Spring, Microservices and Cloud based technologies.
  • Roadmap Creation & Release Plan Management

  • bility to work with Cross Team development and multiple teams concurrently.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and strong analytical skills with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends

Desired Skills and Expertise:
  • Experience in building healthcare-related products .
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry and/or working with legal and compliance teams.
  • Exceptional presentation skills (this team likes to show off their work, tell stories, and articulate the problems they have solved or how they have improved the physician/patient experience ).
  • Familiarity or experience with SAFe.
  • Experience in building a product from the ground up.
  • Working across GCP infrastructure & Cloud Foundation teams is a plus.
