Everyone deserves a great life, including you.Job Summary:Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse and Director of Nursing, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Iperforms direct resident care duties within the scope of their professional certification and assists inmaintaining a positive, physical, and psychosocial environment for the residents.What We Offer:Medical, vision, and dental insuranceEmployer-paid life insurancePaid time offPaid holidaysFlexible schedulesOpportunity to build a meaningful careerJob Description:Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bedlinens.Assist with resident activity programs.Prepare residents for meals and snacks.Assist residents in eating when needed and record food intake.Read and follow daily care plans, perform assigned restorative and rehabilitative procedures, report changes incondition to charge nurse, document care provision on resident record/flow sheets as required and reportaccidents and incidents.Follow safety and sanitation rules and promptly report any injuries or violations to supervisor.Understand, comply with, and promote all regulations and policies regarding resident rights and promote peercompliance of stated regulations and policies.Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.Promote positive relationships with residents, visitors, and government regulators, to include presenting aprofessional appearance and attitude.Must be fully trained and able to serve as a Transportation Aide.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsJob Requirements:Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing with the State with preferably one year of experience with the company.High School Diploma.Must relate positively to residents, family members, employees, nursing, and facility management.Must comply with company Time and Attendance Policies.Physical and Sensory Requirements (with or without accommodation): Walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to hear and respond to pages, ability to distinguish smells, tastes andtemperatures, ability to read and write, ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with residents, families, personnel, vendors and consultants, ability to remain calm under stress.Must meet all local health regulations, and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment.Must be capable of performing the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
