**Position Overview**

Serving as a system or multi-system Super User in the Transportation Department, the Transportation Technology Product Specialist will work closely with Transportation project managers, vendors, and end-users to test, configure, analyze, and maintain best in-class transportation software tools and systems like track and trace, electronic logging devices, transportation management systems, and yard management systems to ensure the C&S delivers operational excellence.

**Job Description**

+ Work directly with end users to monitor, identify, review, clarify and document quality control data, bugs, issues, enhancement requests, and business requirements.

+ Perform application configuration; ensure configuration modifications align with customer and stakeholder expectations. Identify configuration discrepancies and make modifications to correct issues.

+ Assist in the implementation of application enhancements and incremental updates; ensure alignment of end-user expectations. Assist in all phases of testing including systems integration testing, user acceptance testing, end-user training, and regression testing.

+ Understand and train others on track and trace, electronic logging devices, transportation management system, and yard management system functionality.

+ Maintain proper base data; Facilities, Geofences, User Permissions, Application Configuration, Asset Types, Path Sets, Routes, etc.

+ Monitor and review application logs; troubleshoot application errors. Assist end-users with process updates, user issues, and facilitate changes to correct errors when necessary.

+ Partner with vendors to ensure timely and successful software upgrade and maintenance activities.

+ Perform project coordination activities; provide work level estimates, review business requirements and provide status updates to appropriate team members. Liaison between transportation teams and other parties like the warehouse, dedicated carrier, and software vendor (Track & Trace, electronic logging devices, TMS & YMS).

+ Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which models The C&S Way and facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.
