Job Description

HealthPartners is currently hiring for a CMDB Administrator. The CMDB Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration and management of HealthPartners' Configuration Management Database (CMDB). The CMDB is a central repository of information for all of HealthPartners' IT assets, including hardware, software, applications, and services. The CMDB Administrator is responsible for ensuring that the CMDB is accurate and up to date. It is used to support a variety of IT functions, including incident management, problem management, change management, and asset management.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in CMDB administration
  • Experience with a commercial CMDB tool, such as ServiceNow.
  • Experience with CMDB data modeling and data management
  • Experience with CMDB workflows and processes
  • Experience with ITOM and ITIL processes
  • Experience with ServiceNow Integrations
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hours/Location:
  • M-F; Days
  • Position may be remote but will prefer local/regional candidates for occasional onsite needs.
Accountabilities:
  • Develop and maintain the CMDB data model.
  • Import and update CMDB data from a variety of sources.
  • Develop and maintain CMDB workflows and processes.
  • Provide CMDB training and support to users.
  • Use the CMDB to support IT functions such as incident management, problem management, change management, and asset management.
  • Work with other IT teams to ensure that the CMDB is integrated with other IT systems.
  • Stay up to date on the latest CMDB best practices and technologies.
