Job DescriptionNemours Children's Health is seeking an experienced pediatric telephone triage nurse to support our primary care practices in Delaware, Pennsylvania and Florida. This is a casual (8 hours/week), fully remote position that is self-scheduled and requires one shift every other weekend and two holidays per year. Shifts for the role may include: Weekdays: 4:00pm-12am 5:00pm-9:00pm 6:00am-8:30am Overnight 12:00pm-8:30am *No permanent night shifts are included for this role, but must be available to cover up to 5 overnight shifts per year Weekends: 7:30am-3:30pm 3:30pm-12:00am Overnight 12:00pm-8:30am The Triage Nurse role provides primary care patients telephone access to a highly skilled and trained registered nurse who accurately answers their questions and addresses their medical concerns during hours when the primary care offices are closed. To provide first line response to patient questions and concerns with escalation to the primary care on-call physician when necessary.
