Compensation Expectation : $60 – 80/hr
What You'll Do As a Product Manager:
Support the Director of Product Management with development and launch of new features and capabilities for the company’s primary website in partnership with our Engineering , Design, and Research.
Be the voice of the customer and the product evangelist to users, executives, and partners
Contribute to the proactive engagement product strategy and execution of the roadmap
Feed the product backlog, ensuring our Engineering team has adequate detail to interpret user stories and success/acceptance criteria
Liaise with various partners like the CMS team and Editorial as required on new capabilities
Produce detailed written specifications (i.e. user stories) for web products. Gather requirements to define minimum viable product and phasing
Perform thorough user acceptance testing with strong attention to detail and performance
Understand the competitive landscape and evolving customer needs
Stay current on sports and entertainment products, topics and trends
Qualifications:
You could be a great fit if you have:
At least 4-5 years of experience in a consumer product focused role (Product Management or Technical Product Management)
Understanding of web technologies and how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript function (preferred, not required)
Understanding of REST APIs and how JSON responses/data is used to build dynamic web pages (preferred, not required)
Ability to communicate with effectiveness and empathy
Enthusiasm and passion for great products and demonstrated customer focus
Ability to take a collaborative approach to operate in a matrixed environment
Can-do attitude with a passion for digital products and technology
Analytically savvy – leveraging both quantitative and qualitative insights to drive outcome-driven product decisions
Experience writing product specifications for development teams
Strong affinity for sports and familiarity with competing products
Interest in gambling, live streaming, data visualizations, esports, and social media platforms
