Leaves Personal Care seeks a passionate individual to champion our marketing and communications. In the role of Connections Specialist, you will become the bridge between Leaves Personal Care and the West Michigan community, spreading the word to community leaders, clients, and other interested parties This role calls for someone who embodies our Mission, Vision, and Values.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Leaves Personal Care Connections Specialist will:

1) Employ their strengths and gifting in communications to amplify our brand story with our audience; weaving strategy and creativity to maximize our reputation and our reach. Our growing audience is located in and around West Michigan. Our Connections Specialist will provide in person visits to:

  1. Current and potential clients and their families.
  2. Medical service partners such as physicians, nurses, OT, and PT providers.
  3. Vibrant retirement living communities.
  4. Other professional community allies including but not limited to eldercare attorneys, financial planners, and senior referral professionals.

2) Scale up Leaves' business growth and expansion through collaborative, enthusiastic vision-casting, strategic road mapping and energetic execution.

3) Be passionate about building relationships and understanding people's needs; a natural problem-solver who thrives on making a difference in people's lives.

Essential Functions of the job
  • Grow our client base in West Michigan while championing Leaves' mission and vision through cultivating referral relationships at hospitals, physician offices, and senior living communities.
  • Pursue new strategic partnerships with financial planners, elder law attorneys and other senior advocates to expand our audience and ability to add value to our potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations and Owners to optimize and execute a data-driven marketing plan that crushes our goals.
  • Cultivate and deepen our existing community connections through scheduled visits, lunches, and delivering treats.
  • Leverage CRM tools (Excel/Hubspot/Similar) to track interactions and craft strategies that ensure exceptional service and build lasting relationships.
  • Own the marketing budget, allocating resources for impactful collaterals, high-engagement events, and incentives and gifts that drive results.
  • Organize and execute workshops, presentations and learning opportunities in the community.
  • Bring leadership and enthusiasm to the Leaves team at community events such as Parkinson's Walk, Alzheimer's Golf Outings etc.
  • Collaborate with the leadership of Leaves Personal Care to craft and develop our outfacing communications including social media, search engine optimization, and external communications to highlight our unique service offerings, brand distinctives, and company culture, while promoting our mission, vision, and values.
  • Conduct initial client consultations to gather information, understand their needs, and onboard them into our service. You'll then share these insights with the team to ensure a collaborative approach.
  • Conduct client satisfaction reviews to ensure we're exceeding expectations and explore opportunities to provide even more value through our expanded service offerings.


Requirements

Required Skills, Abilities and Tasks:

Must reflect the culture, mission, and values of Leaves Personal Care as the representative of our outstanding, attentive care.

Must possess outstanding communication skills and be fluent in English; proficient in writing and articulate in speech to communicate who we are with enthusiasm and dignity.

Must be able to inspire, teach, motivate, and encourage others both within the organization and the community.

Must be able to create social media calendars, campaigns and posts that grows Leaves reputation and engagement.

Must enthusiastically build relationships with new individuals and maintain positive relationships with people from all walks of life and with different values than ours.

Must be technologically proficient to learn and utilize Hubspot, Canva, Microsoft Excel, Generations, and other software applications.

Travel required throughout West Michigan (50%) - must be able to meet with clients and partners, attend community events, and engage in professional meetings.

Willingness to grow in the role and perform other duties as assigned.
