The role is fully onsite, providing hands-on experience and mentorship from seasoned professionals. Key Responsibilities: General Ledger Maintenance : Assist in maintaining the general ledger by recording and verifying financial transactions. Accounts Payable/Receivable : Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Reconciliations : Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist in reconciling general ledger accounts. Financial Reporting : Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review. Expense Reporting : Process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies. Data Entry : Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and maintain organized records. Compliance : Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls. Support : Provide support during audits and assist in gathering documentation and responding to audit inquiries. Administrative Tasks : Assist with various administrative tasks and special projects as needed. Qualifications: Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required . Experience : 0-1 years of accounting experience. Internships or relevant coursework will be considered. Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus. Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Organizational Skills : Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Team Player : Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take direction from senior staff. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with accounting software. Internship experience in an accounting or finance role. Basic understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
