We are a Christian hospice offering the highest quality clinical care and the love and salvation of Jesus Christ. Empyrean Hospice hires Registered Dieticians to plan, organize, and conduct dietetic education for nursing personnel and other personnel, and function as a member of our hospice interdisciplinary team with expertise in nutritional care.Salary or hourly rate listed is the base for this role; increase commensurate with experience.Position Overview - Registered Dietician:•Represent Empyrean Hospice with the utmost professionalism and compassion•Develop and implement a nutritional plan of care based on a comprehensive assessment of nutritional needs as part of the patient's total plan of care; provide evaluation and reporting appropriately•Work with the referring physician and interdisciplinary group to provide appropriate counseling to individuals and families/caregivers; provide instruction on nutritional principles, dietary plans, food selection, and economics, and adapt plans to the individual's illness, as indicated•Communicate appropriate dietary history and nutritional care data including assessment, treatment plan, progress notes, and discharge summary in the clinical record•Ensure standards of ethical business and clinical practice are prioritizedWho is Empyrean Hospice?With Empyrean Hospice, we are family.
