Senior Software Developer - WebAVI Foodsystems Inc., is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to be part of the Information Technology team.The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of progressive experience as a web developer with proven experience in various languages and frameworks (listed below). This role will lead the way for extended use of web platforms for both internal and external facing web applications.Languages/Frameworks:ASP.Net (Core - 8)AngularTypeScript / Javascript ES6+C#Entity FrameworkHTMLCSS / SCSSREST (HTTP/1) and gRPC (HTTP/2) APIsVersion ControlExperience with the following is preferred:Microservice ArchitectureUnit testing (XUnit, Jest)End to end testing (Cypress)CI/CD pipelinesDocker / KubernetesAWSOAuth2 / OpenIdConnectMaterial Design UI LibraryPosition Responsibilities:Serve as AVIs senior-most developer on our Innovation team and primary influencer for platform and architecture decisionsWork collaboratively with other developers and management to establish technology and design standards for web development that support organizational goalsRegularly lead major initiatives and works with platform and application ownersHands on development within multiple web projectsRecommend and lead R&D efforts for applications as well as the development tools/environmentMentor other developers on advanced technologies and skillsMust Have Qualifications:Proven track record of designing and implementing successful web tools including (but not limited to):Client and customer facing applications primarily intended to improve the service experienceInternal applications to improve productivity and throughputStrong web and mobile web development backgroundSolid understanding of current technologies including: .Net, Javascript/Typescript (preferably Angular 15+), HTML, CSS, SaaS architecturesExperience creating and using REST APIs and gRPC servicesAbility to integrate with vended applications to innovate custom solutionsFamiliarity with unit testing using XUnitExperience using CSS and SCSS (SASS)Familiar with Git and code version toolsExcellent analysis skillsProficient with ORM, Relational Databases, and SQL or PostgreSQLExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust work well in a team and be able to mentor junior developersExpertise in troubleshooting complex systemsPreferred Qualifications:Experience working in a cloud environment (preferably AWS)Experience with AI / ML concepts and tools such as Tensorflow or ML.netKnowledge of Accessibility concepts and implementationsAbility to create and work with mockups made in FigmaDuring the Selection Process the candidate will:Describe systems that they have supportedDiscuss systems theory and designDemonstrate solid communication skillsDescribe teamwork experiences#J-18808-Ljbffr
