Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects and is able to assist in identifying and solving problems.
  • Work with internal teams to recommend methods to accomplish desired results; translate client requirements into operational instructions and question atypical requests.
  • Meet with team to review project plans, deadlines, issues and new work; assist in setting priorities for projects they are assigned; use metrics to evaluate the productivity of work group; take full ownership and accountability for their work.
  • Review processes with attention towards automation and continuous improvement concerning efficiencies, costs, turnaround, and risk; participate in and/or oversee the implementation of changes; track and document all process improvements.
  • Enforce the use of proper standard operating procedures and documentation.
  • Communicate and coordinate work across functional areas within the division; participate in discussions for assigned projects; document and communicate issues and achievements for assigned projects; escalate issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Participate in the implementation of strategic goals for assigned areas of responsibilities; meet with management on a regular basis to review, update and monitor progress of goals.
  • Attend ongoing training to achieve personal, professional, and technical improvement.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related discipline or equivalent experience. A master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related discipline may substitute for one year of experience
  • Minimum three years relevant experience, with demonstrated abilities in project planning and project management.
  • Problem solving skills with the understanding of making analytical decisions
  • Communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to translate and present issues; ability to interact with all members in a team environment
  • Ability to work on multiple platforms with various technologies
  • PC software skills and email; familiarity of relational databases and queries
  • MS Office applications with intermediate Excel skills
  • Ability to manage resources on their projects
  • Familiarity with project management principles
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to understand business requirements, data and processes necessary to produce intended results
  • Adherence to, and demonstration of, organization and division methodologies
  • Self-starter, flexible and detail oriented; motivated and driven to succeed with the organization
  • Serve as an effective bridge builder between diverse Business Areas within the organization
  • Presents, leads and teaches by example
  • Ability to effectively work with personnel on all levels
