JOB SUMMARY

The EHS Air Compliance Technician will work with the Corporate EHS Air Compliance team as directed by the Manager, Air Compliance to ensure that Coterra complies with emission requirements of all Exploration & Production (E&P), Local, State, and Federal rules and regulations. They will perform a variety of tasks related to the data entry, collection, calculations, and reporting of air compliance data.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide emissions permitting and compliance support for Coterra Corporate and BUs. Assist with Air emissions calculations and reporting as needed.
  • Support various emissions compliance tasks. This includes data entry in various software applications, notifications via mail or electronic system as required by environmental agencies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation/records for emissions compliance activities.
  • Conduct data gathering for air emissions determinations as needed.
  • Generate process flow and site diagrams for permitting and optical gas imaging programs.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on collected data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to address data-related issues and drive process improvements.
  • Participate in audits and inspections related to air compliance and EHS data management.
  • Support ad-hoc data entry and quality assurance requests as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Willingness and ability to learn new software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain effective relationships with various levels of company personnel.
  • Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task with attention to accuracy.
  • Must be a team player and possess the ability to adapt to changing and fast paced working environment.
  • Ability to apply chemistry and mathematics skills.


YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Years of Experience Minimum Preferred: 3 years relevant experience associated with Oil & Gas Operations

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum: Associates degree. Combination of industry experience and education may substitute as equivalent for degree

Preferred: Bachelor's degree. Technical or 4-year college degree highly preferred

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Percent of Travel Required: Less than 10%; Travel may be required for required meetings or training

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work is typically performed indoors in an office environment. Incumbents must be able to perform work which includes typing, sitting, and standing. In the event that incumbent visits operations worksite, personal protection equipment, including head protection, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety shoes, and flame-resistant clothing is required. Safety rules including OSHA and DOT requirements are strictly enforced. Employees must be willing to travel and work extended hours on short notice.
