Chief Financial Officer

Job Description Summary
Kugler Oil Company is looking to hire a Chief Financial Officer to our team. The CFO will direct and manage all the financial aspects of the company. The position

will oversee the accounting, management information systems, office administrative personnel, human resources and other administrative functions. The CFO will have direct responsibility for establishing accounting and financial policies and ensuring its implementation. This individual will proactively identify trends and seek out ways to reduce exposure to risk or help implement changes to increase the company's profitability.

Responsibilities
Oversees all accounting functions and establishes accounting and financial policies
Responsible in maintaining that the company is in compliance and assisting in audits
Oversees employee benefit plans through the Human Resources Director
Responsible for assuring that monthly financial statements and reports are produced in a timely manner
Responsible for establishing/updating records retention policies for the company
Directly responsible for the preparation of annual budget and profit plane for the entire company
Oversees selected administrative functions and assists in recruiting personnel as appropriate
Evaluates and/or oversees subordinate staff job performance and completion of goals and objectives on an on-going basis

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
Master's degree preferred
Many years of experience in a CFO, Assistant CFO or VP of Finance role preferred
Certified Public Accountant preferred
Agriculture background preferred
