Duties

Responsible for the coordination of the area office's multi-year budget which includes all aspects of planning, analysis, formulation, justification, presentation, execution, and review.


  • Maintain the Work Breakdown Structure System including but not limited to issuing requests, performing audits on a quarterly basis, and cost authority closeout.
  • Extract data from financial reports, written documents, various procurement and obligatory documents to track and monitor usage and availability of budgeted funds.
  • Provide guidance, advice, and technical assistance to Area Office staff regarding financial and/or budget related information.
  • Prepare documentation for budget presentation and justification which may include draft capability statements; issue papers; budget narratives; Replacements; Additions; and Extraordinary Maintenance Program justification.
