Airswift is looking for a Simulation Specialist to work for a major client in Juno Beach, Florida, for a 1-year assignment likely to be extended. We are looking for a PLC Programming (Simulation Specialist) to help build a simulator to help test the batteries from the supplier. Required Skills: Bachelor at minimum in Electrical Engineering or related field. 10+ years of industry experience in utilities or energy. Application of operating a battery power plant. PE is not required. Preferred Background: Experience in using Schneider Electric PLC platform a plus. Experience in using Emerson DCS (Distributed Control System) a plus. Previous battery (BESS) would be a huge plus. Job responsibilities: Lead the initial development of a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for the BESS Plant Control. The test aims to ensure that the BESS Plant fully meets the requirements without any defects. Be responsible for either finding or building a BESS Plant Simulator, which will aid in the testing process. Working Conditions Preferred – someone close to Juno Beach, FL.
