KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations Maintaining general ledger accounts and processes in Sage Intacct and ViewPoint Managing month end close Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable Researching accounting issues for compliance Coordinating the accounting integration of acquired companies Identifying the need for and hiring new accounting staff Supervising and supporting the senior accountant and AP manager REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 5 years’ experience in industry with increasing levels of responsibility 2 years’ supervisory experience CPA preferred but not required Experience playing a significant role in a system implementation or integration Experience using Sage Intacct or ViewPoint is highly preferred but not required Acquisition integration, experience writing technical accounting memos and experience with FloQast are not required but very beneficial BENEFITS INCLUDE: Work-from-home schedule with 1-2 days per month in the office Competitive salary and bonus Medical insurance Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) retirement account with match Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
